Here's How to Reach Us-We're a Small Business
As a small, family-run studio, we spend most of our time doing what we love — teaching, creating, and connecting with our dancers. Because of this, the best and fastest way to reach us is by email. We check messages regularly and do our best to respond as quickly as possible. It normally takes 2-3 days to respond unless it's a busy time for us recital season, competition season, summer camp/break. If you have a question, concern, or need help registering, don’t hesitate to reach out!
What to Expect on Your First Day
Here’s a quick checklist so your dancer is ready and confident:
FIRST TWO WEEKS OF CLASSES at the beginning of the year. (There will be some dancing but NOT ALOT at first)
The first day of classes is designed to ensure a smooth start and help everyone get acquainted with our studio environment. Here's what you can expect:
-
Review of Studio Rules: We'll begin by introducing or refreshing our dancers on the studio's rules and policies to ensure a respectful and productive atmosphere.
-
Getting to Know Each Other: Our instructors will facilitate fun activities to help dancers get to know their classmates and teachers. Building a sense of community is very important to us.
-
Review of Basic Skills: We will take some time to review basic dance skills, ensuring all dancers feel confident and prepared as we move forward.
-
What to Wear:
We keep it relaxed at the beginning! New dancers have time to get comfortable and gather the required attire — there’s no need to rush out and buy everything right away.
For the first few weeks, dancers can wear:
A camisole top and leggings or a fitted t-shirt and athletic pants
Ballet, jazz, or clean sneakers (depending on class)
Hair pulled back and off the face for ballet/modern and leaps and turns acro combo
-
What to Bring:
-
Water bottle
-
Dance shoes (labeled if possible)
-
Positive energy!
-
-
Arrival Tips:
Arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can help guide your dancer to the right studio. -
You’re welcome to wait in our lobby or drop off and return at the end of class.
-
Nervous dancers? Totally normal! We allow dancers to go at that own pace and often play games to get everyone acclimated.
DROP OFF/PICK UP
Your child’s safety is our top priority — please take a moment to review our important drop-off and pick-up procedures:
-
Never drop off your dancer without making sure a staff member is present and the studio is open.
-
All dancers age 12 and under must be picked up inside the building by a parent or guardian they are not allowed to leave the studio on their on you must come to their class room door and give the teacher their name. Cars do speed around the building and their are other businesses.
-
For dancers in Studio A, parents may wait in the front lobby.
-
For dancers in Studio C, please wait in the back lobby near the vinyl music wall and competition awards.
We ask for your patience during dismissal. We do this for safety and in the event there’s a substitute teacher, they may not recognize who is picking up your dancer, so please be visible and help us ensure every child gets to their grown-up safely.
